I have been stitching since the late 80's I used to knit till it went out of fashion in the 80's,I enjoy many forms of stitching hardanger,blackwork, any counted stitches, cross-stitch, Quilting,stumpwork,beading and of course my first passion which was knitting.I love the colour purple, I like to stitch samplers I love alphabets, will design my own for special occasions.I like following designer lizzie kate, brent creek,prarie schooler, shepherds bush, little house needlework, Country Cottage Needle work and many more.

Ric-rac heaven


On a shopping trip last week I could not stop myself from indulging, I just had to buy all this ric-rac to finish off ornaments, I just need to finish the ornaments now.


I said while I was on holiday I was going to see how many little jersey's I could manage to knit while I was out and about I managed 5, I have started number 6. 


I also received an exchange this week from Marie in the USA she stitched for me Making Friends by Just Nan, the picture does not do it credit as she has used a sparkly thread on some of the stitches which does not show up, I love the Just Nan designs I have a few in my stash waiting to be stitched up.
