Merry Christmas

I had to work today, we delivered 3 Christmas babies. Off to my Brother's tomorrow so will celebrate Christmas tomorrow.

I made a tug toy for Penny which she has played with and it has not been ripped to sherds yet.

These are the parcels which where in Joys Christmas Exchange which I kept to open on Christmas Day.

They where full of useful bits and pieces, it is amazing what you can fit in a litre container, thank-you Joy the note book and tissues are already in the handbag.

This is what I made my Mother-in-law it is Lizzie Kate's Do your Best it is made into a little cushion, which now resides in her basket of Biscornu.

I received some money as well may sign up for a quilting workshop at the Viking loom in April. My Mother-in-law stitched me this lovely card.

I have also been working on my Advent stitching I have spend more time frogging than stitching, I seem unable to count at the moment!

On my lap

I just looked down and this is what I saw !

This is common occurrence she always wants to sit on my knee while stitching, she is tired from her walk this afternoon.

Christmas exchange

I took part in a Christmas exchange, we had to fill a litre container then send it off, usually I just swap a x-stitch item I have maded so I enjoyed this, I was partnered with Joy of Daisy Row we have both received our exchanges Joy has opened hers I am waiting till Christmas Day to open mine, this is what I sent Joy I did find out what her favourite colour was I sounder what it was?

We had to include a Christmas ornament I didn't realise till I had started stitching it that this was Joys name.

Then all wrapped up

All the above fit in a litre container.

Advent Sal 1

This is my stitching so far on the Advent Sal with Istitch, day 1 is complete and I have started day 2.

I went to my Mothers flower club Christmas demonstration on Monday night, she runs the raffle so had to sell and fold raffle tickets so that we could win the above displays after the demonstration, of course I didn't win anything but an enjoyable evening, the demonstrates are quite funny with the stories they tell while doing the flower arrangements.

December is here.

Every year seems to be going faster, I doesn't seem long since last December, I have signed up to do the Istitch mystery advent sal the first part arrived in my inbox this morning, will not have time today to start already not off to a good start.
I posted Justine her thread catcher which she won in my give away.

I have also posted an exchange this morning for HOE, it was going over sea's so with the Christmas posting it has gone early, this is what I made

It is from Country Cottages Needlework in this years Just Cross-Stitch Christmas Ornaments issue, I stitched it on 28ct cream linen the back has the background fabric on, I loved the colours they are a bit different to the usual Christmas colours.
