Canvass Work

I love doing canvass work this is one of Sue Hawkins kits(link in posting below), I also have a larger one to do as well, this is a scissor keep and I also have a pin cushion to do.
I have also learnt a new skill I have made my first Dorset button it was a little fiddly
as it was so small.
This kit used variegated and solid colours on 18 count canvas.
I was also fortunate to visit a Bead Fair on Sunday I didn't buy too much stash as I do not really need any more beads, but I could not resist some lampwork beads which I did splash out on, I intend to make them into a necklace before I go on holiday in 2 weeks time!!!

Forgot to add that I have a couple of Sue Hawkins kits in my stash - thanks for reminding me! They look like such fun to stitch.

Me too I love Sue Hawkins. I have a heart, bookmarks and a scissors fob waiting for time!

Jayne, thanks for leaving the comment on my blog. I read about the dorset button and discovered I used to make these as a child only didn't know they were called Dorset Buttons, we thought they were Grandma's Pain-in-the-B...t Buttons.
